St George and The Dragon - by artist Sarah Forrest - Bruin Mischief

This piece is a collaboration with Robin Ruinsky of Ruins Bruins. Robin created both the mount, 14" from nose to tail, for St George and the Dragon from mohair with hand painted details and wire armature for lifelike poseability. The Dragon, 24" from nose to tip of tail, is further embellished with wire claws and scaling. For St George Robin also created the clothing, accessories and hand felted his eyebrows (seems Robin thought he looked a little too "sweet"). St George is my creation, 11 ½” tall made of honey blond mohair with Ultrasuede® pads, blue glass eyes, wire armature and stuffed with fiberfill.
